The right direction

2006-08-17

It's slowly going in the right direction with most of my present tasks. Slowly but surely :-)

Concerning my education, I am in the process of writing my masters dissertation - I hope to finish it within the next couple of months. Unfortunately I have to wait until next summer to complete my last course, as no courses relevant to be has been offered this semester. But that's life, I guess.

As we expect an addition to our small family within the next few months, I have to find myself a full-time job soon, due to Louise's going on maternity leave. So if you know about the perfect job for me, PLEASE don't hesitate to write ;-)

I got some great news with regard to my Boswell research the other day, as I received a letter from Adam Sisman, author of the critically acclaimed Boswell's Presumptuous Task. It appears he is going to mention my website www.jamesboswell.info in the new edition of the book, due out in October this year, which, naturally, pleases me a lot. Hopefully it results in more site visitors, as well, but even so it is still very encouraging.

Apart from this, all is well. Our nursery is in the process of being furnished, and we have finally had the few remaining areas of the apartment painted, so the place looks good.

I'll keep you posted, of course - stay tuned - and remember to check for the RSS feeds which I am working on implementing.
