We are now back home from eight great days in Germany. A lot of pictures will follow in the official travel description, but here just a short update
We - that is, Sophia, Louise and me together with Sophia's grandmother Bente and grandfather Erik - drove south on Saturday, June 16. After dinner in Celle we arrived in Brunswick where we spent the night. After a walk through that city, we drove on, on Sunday noon, to Wolfenbüttel and from there on to Goslar where we had a delicious lunch. From there we headed SW for another 400km, to Cochem on the river Mosel.
We spent the next days in Cochem, with numerous trips to places like Bernkastel-Kues, Trier and Burg Eltz, as well as a lot of small towns on the river. On Friday we headed back north, across Sauerland to the near forgotten Hanse town of Attendorn, where we lunched. And then on to Minden where we stayed the night. On Saturday we took a boat tour on the Mittelland Canal and the Weser, before we drove back home to Lyngby.
