Today we noticed, for the first time, that Sophia has started to grow teeth.She has been a bit touchy for the past few days, and slept a bit less than usual, but that should be quite normal at the age of 4 months.

This evening Sophia was sutting and sucking a bit on her mother's finger, when suddenly Louise looked wrong - "say, what is...." followed but "she's got a tooth!". And quite right - in the middle of the lower part of her mouth could be seen a tiny white thing, which in time is going to grow into a real tooth :-)

This evening we also tried giving her gruel, for the first time - yes, we do it the wrong way round, here - milk, followed my porridge and only then gruel. Gruel is said to be the universal solution to making babies her age sleep well at night - instead of waking up every 2 hours and keeping their poor parents awake ;-) Anyway, she likes it - now let's see if it also makes her sleep better :-)

Oh - and she was in the Zoo for the first time last saturday.
